St. Louis Rowing Club has many different options for Adult Rowing. New rowers learn sweep rowing with the Learn To Row session, held in February, June, July and August. Once you have completed Learn To Row you move to the Adult Intermediate Group and continue to hone your skills, taught by club coaches.

After getting the nod from our coaches you can move to the Adult Masters Program and row as a member of the Competitive Masters crew or Recreational Masters crew.

For those who have completed the Learn to Row, we offer Novice Sculling instruction.  For those more experienced, we also have coaching for Competitive Scullers.

This program is geared for new sweep rowers whose technique needs more development. Training is year-round and may lead to competition in local and regional regattas. The Intermediate Program is the stepping stone from the Learn To Row program to the more advanced Competitive or Recreational Masters crews.

Intermediate rowers are evaluated about once a year, and those who are ready to advance are invited to move to either the Competitive Masters or Recreational Masters crew.hooch 2013-mixed 8 again
