He learned to row in high school, spending three years with the Cincinnati Juniors Rowing Club, and that experience led to a rowing scholarship at Northeastern University. Following graduation, Tim returned to Cincinnati; he spent five years as the novice men’s coach with CJRC, where he led his team to a stellar record of wins. During his two years with SLRC, Tim has built our Juniors program to a team of over 70 high-schoolers from the metro area, and he personally coaches the varsity women’s team. This team finished the 2006-07 season with their best record in SLRC history – at the US Rowing Junior National Regatta in June 2007, the varsity women’s 8+ finished sixth. |
